Malaysian Prawn Fritters

 


     Hello buddy around the world today today recipe im going to share is Malaysian prawn fritters known as in malay we called as "cucur udang". Malaysin people love to eat this prawn fritter during their tea time or it can be eaten as a snack with your choice of sauce.  This prawn fritters are crunchy and has great aroma smell, its particular one of my favourite snacks to eat. 

 

Ingredients

·         500g wheat flour

·         250g/1 package of crab fillets (cut into approximately 1 inch)

·         1 large onion (thinly sliced)

·         100g bean sprouts

·         100g carrots (chopped)

·         50g chives

·         2 cups of water

·         1 1⁄2 tsp baking powder

·         Salt

·         Sugar

·         Sufficient oil


Method

·          1   Combine all the above ingredients and mix well.

·         2. Then add water and stir until the mixture is mixed. The mixture must not be

·         too liquid and not too thick. If thick, you can add water.

·         3. Marinate the mixture for about 20 minutes.

·         4. Heat the oil. Fry the cuscur until brown and cook with

·         use medium heat.

·         5. Ready to serve. Crispy outside. Soft inside.

      

NOTE: Estimated for 5-6 people to eat. Preparation time is approximately 25 minutes.😊
