Malaysian Kuih Onde Onde Recipe
What is onde-onde?
Onde-onde is one of the customary kuih in Malaysia; they are one of my top picks. kuih is the term for Malaysian sweet cakes or baked goods. This adorable little onde-onde-additionally spelled as ondeh-obdeh-are injected with pandan leaves and loaded up with "Gula Melaka" or palm sugar.
Ingredients (5-6 people)

500 grams of glutinous rice flour

Adequate water

1 teaspoon of pandan leaf dye

1 piece of Melaka sugar (cut into small pieces)
- Grated coconut
Method
1.
Mix glutinous rice flour with water. Add pandan leaf dye.
If
you want more delicious, use pandan leaf water that has been ground.
2.
Take a dough the size of a thumb and knead it into a round shape
It's
easy to estimate the size, then flatten it.
3.
Place the Malacca sugar and roll it into a ball.
4.
Bring water to a boil.
5.
Put the cakes in the pot and lift them when the cakes rise.
Evaporate
and leave for a while.
6. Mix the cake with grated coconut. Ready to eat
